I watched….
small city life
tap on the
nutmeg colored face
of impulse…mine!
Wandering interviews
about the harmonious shadings
of the world?
sketches,
of what filled my story…
and so many others, with what seemed like
thoughtless particulars…

was it a copious extract
of brackets, working like a real author?
communicating incidents stronger
then desires?

along with sentiments suggested
rather endeavored passions leaping
with little restraint?
forcibly impressed upon my mind
with glistening eyes?

well,
perhaps equally bewitching are the
precious moments, running from frame
to frame
who could endure the recalls,
scattered with those enticing whistling winds?

the ones producing true to touch
pictured on the walls of luster, passion
in unfolding buds….

preserving my senses for another dimension
just like it was magnifying my incapable
so called civilized depravity,
redesigned by a calm current of reflection
suspended like some infernal drug
teasing my agonizing emotions
like the common standards of society
life’s blood is human & more mischievous
then the vexation of any sleeping existence

dragging wonder to some lively sense of
natural consequences…although, i’ve never
believed in consequence…yet, it seems to
sail with the principle of nature…wandering like
some maternal tenderness…

where the soul flows into it, like
powers of the human mind
like a sleeping spirit with clumsy
convictions, complaining that it had
nothing to possess, while i kept close
a confused recollection of having seen
the autumnal scent, of the breeze of morning
and I did….

looking for the unknown, always wishing to
be someplace else…with the whole of the air
in the truth of which goes directly to the heart
like a transient acquaintance with noble mind
at the end of flesh…and the beginning of another
childhood…a new raised regiment, destined to travel…
Yes…listening to the conversations of circles…
Where religion shakes loose rigid principles

recollecting degrees of mysterious dimensions
which discover the keepers, in a profound maze
so irresistibly torturing the soul
tempting an influx of rivers and seas,
searching for those unknown shores
hovering like a mist…

with every earthly desire, known to man?
some luster of youth in future imposition
draws powerful emotions without egotism
in a trembling sense of
just precious moments
talking, while walking long side of us….
and
I realize, I am so small…
>
footnote:  I can remember laying in a crib...and knowing then, there was so much much more...meaning, the many dimensions, why? Because I felt them...magik? Maybe...

Good morning, Lovely Lee!

From frame to frame, I enjoyed the sketches of your life in a small town.

You may be small ~ but you walk tall!

May the sun, the moon, and the stars shine upon you, every step of Your Way!

Warm huggalove,
Linda

In a situation like that you just turn over and go back to sleep. Good morning sweet.

Lee~
You stunned me with the opening -

'I watched….

Oh my ... such a creatively original piece~

I'm coming back later to re-read~

When I was just past crib-sized, I remember looking at the sky....the hugeness of it and feeling how MORE was everywhere.  I wanted it all, but at the time, I was too small.

Just like a mother. Bless your very tender heart.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

yea, one of my first memories in the crib, then climbing out to explore. always had to move on, not knowing why. free spirit had to fly, now i know why

My spirit will rise
above the sea~
There will be no drowning
of my soul or me~
