I'm tattered Torn, broken, lying on the floor I don't have the love to give I'm lost, So fragile I don’t want to hurt anymore Yet, I continue on the path That led me here to this place Aching, longing, yearning for release From the darkness in which I dwell Never to see the light Of happiness Again This is respectfully dedicated to a friend that I was talking to online this morning... It seems so much less dark and dreary when its coming for you. It's cheered me up too! Now... its my turn to thank you... for pushing me and getting me to write, because its been awhile and I didn't I guess I just needed a little shove... The poem is very good, and I think I know how it feels... lol and it feels a little bit less incomplete. |
