Saluting with misty eyes

0 posted 2005-10-16 11:07 PM

She walked down the alley
Like butter on a hot biscuit
Twisted in thought
Pure as honey
Blind to the rats in the filth
Staring back with eyes
Dire in a quest
Blocked only by their insurmountable greed
Lust for the darkness
Black as the evil in their eyes
Halted in a shameless moment
Resting on an ego or fortitude
Knowing not as to the light she bears
With a candle less flame she endures her silences
Lost in aggravation
A pursuit of dreams broken
Then, finally, with breath anew
Steps out of the dark
Into the fading corners of yesterdays darkest shadows
Stepping forward anew out of an antique future
Remembering delicate a new past.

When all is said
All is done
Still I live
And carry on-
Quiet Riot

Hey Ringo!

Thank You for spending the time with me this evening to write this, its always so nice to write with you. Back when we wrote silent burial together I kinda felt we had a connection in our writing style and its good to have people that can mesh well with your style, you rock and keep em coming!
