The Storm

Clouds of black.
The thunder claps as lightning
dances across the darken sky,
tears of rain fall.
Trees swaying with music of
the wind.
As hail plays drums
upon roof tops.

I find thunderstorms exhilarating! You captured their essence with this vividly descriptive write!

You should leap off your lily pad and seek shelter whenever once comes to the pond to avoid being zapped! ~ Fried froggy legs! ~ Perish the thought!
