I stare into an empty room Tears descend down my pale and gaunt face Seeing nothing but aware of the entity and the pain For the devil strikes at my heart Killing my spirit and draining my soul I try to break away from his seize of terror But strength he has in abundance Escape is hopeless for I endure this nightmare Four walls entomb me No one to hear my shouts, or feels my pain Invisible torment I cry out but I know it is worthless An eerie silence falls on my room Then I am slammed against the wall Then the devil crucifies me He enjoys the deliverance of pain he deals As he hammers the nails of hate into me I am terrified to see this hate in his eyes I look above for help and release I shout to god but he turns to deaf ears I am alone in the presents of death, and with my life in his hands The devil turns and laughs in my face No one hears you and no one cares He strikes out and hits my battered and bruised body With tears in my eyes I turn to look straight at my father For he is and was the devil in disguise |

Yogi~ There is a puncuated poignancy of dread in this penning~ So sad ... so sad~ If you, or anyone you know, is going through abuse at the hands of ANYONE ... get out and get help~ If the poem isn't related to you ... then I hope others will see it and realize that they don't have to take it ! 'Devils-in-disguise' only remain that way until they are unmasked for all to see !!! *Huglets*  ~*Marge*~ ~*No matter what I search for ... |

I care Yogi and theres plenty of others who do as well. I can garantee you there's help. heres a number call it. Childhelp USA, National Child Abuse hotline, (1-800-422-4453) They would love to help! Let the healing begin! Very good writing, you got talent kido! |

Yogi, this is very painful....I cannot pretend to understand since both of my parents were very loving, but my heart goes out to you. |
