Drawing words it seems at random
from a pool close to the source,
of a mystic spring that's flowing,
sparkling clear beneath the sun.

Found in countless years of roaming,
those whose images have run,
spilled together over laughter,
and, a fair amount of tears.

By their purifying nature
have these waters touched my soul,
and, have granted me the vision
to see far beyond my means,

to a place of understanding,
just enough of what I see.
In the farthest depths discovering
that from which the mystic springs.

That the end should come so quickly
serves the telling, not at all.
For, the story may continue
way beyond the narrators' time.

Long as there are those who wonder
of its' source, the mystic shines.,
for all those who are to follow,
and, all those it's left behind.

You have traveled a path that I recognize my friend. And we find ourselves wise beyond our desire I am sure. Splendid. Do it some more, please.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
