Skipping Stones at St. Martins Canal

"Oh the joy, to share in the delight,
of skipping stones at St Martins Canal
upon dreamy moonlit nights."

She was a soft and sweet kind of girl.
Her pretty smile and her kissable lips,
had brought happiness to a few mens world.
It would be out of the question to
question the objects of her affection.
She was desperate for a man, but only
willing to settle for perfection.
I wasn't perfection, but still we
have a few stories to tell; like
beautiful moonlit nights and her
screams of delight, skipping stones
at St. Martins Canal.

"You see honey, it skips best
when you throw it like this.
Yes, yes that was so close to
perfection, and now its time
for a kiss."
