I will walk with the sad stones today
there at the life river place
where spirits are drawn in sand
by metal hands soulless

there will be voices in the rooms
but there will be no wind
and freedom will be behind the eyes
where a search for god is hurried

I knew of this man before, in his eyes
I knew of him, before he spoke of the trees
and now that he recognizes me
we laugh at the ashen that makes widows

today I will truly be his brother

sad, but very very beautifully written, as you always do, your talent and ability to mince words with nature's perspective is outstanding....

Hugs to ya Mr. Sensi...

I've read a lot of your poems, for the lessons in how to write; and some I've re-read because they moved me deeply....this poem and one other, also recent, more than any others. I'll let this response suffice for both.

Deep currents....thank you.

To read your words, is truly a wonder and gift to all...
to have your friendship? A blessing...

but then you knew I would say this...

One, of many I call

live for today,
dream of the future,
and learn eternal truths from the past..
