There was a song of red wings
Voices needing to be heard
Charms supple embraced of wisdom
In the fledge of a murmured word

Seasons that came with ephemeral face
Spinning silk spheres in their illusion
Pausing so briefly cocoon into furrow
By the trickle of mute resolution

In the arms of an oak came to homage
Found imprisoned in copious bows
Hoarsely silenced in new fallen freedom
Lest the noise lend to ode it endows

Looking out on a charcoal horizon
Waiting morning to call out her name
In the blush of moments revival
There the red wings to sing just the same

and from the wisdom of a bird...the dart
of a bee from flower to flower...all is
but beauty...

she comes to sing
with a robin's ring
until the window's frost
mutes her scarlet wings
and so another season
takes possesion
and around the corner
winter waits to be king

Good morning, TD!

"In the arms of an oak came to homage" ~ This is just one of the several lines that I find memorable!

A lovely write!

May your day be a glorious one!

~ Sing and fly like the birds and may you always have a sturdy oak to come home to!

this speaks so much of hope, strength, courage...the birds singing, give a choir to life's signals....and those blush of moments you speak of above...this grains harmony in my soul...what a peaceful write.
Enjoyed

Truly miss the times/feelings this wonderful piece envokes, my friend...the redwings and charcoal mornings, fog rising from around cattails . . . sigh....

Kathleen~
There is sheer beauty in the all of this~

'Seasons that came with ephemeral face
Spinning silk spheres in their illusion
Pausing so briefly cocoon into furrow
By the trickle of mute resolution

In the arms of an oak came to homage
Found imprisoned in copious bows
Hoarsely silenced in new fallen freedom
Lest the noise lend to ode it endows'

I *sigh* with the joyous feelings of this~
Pure beauty on wing~

Ephemeral beauty....you really captured me this morning!

I came for the title, ~just because~ ... and stayed for the feast in these words.
