in the rise and falls
          mornings break
old chatter stills
as the winds ache
and her shadow crawls
          misted grey
the steel of light
our mother's way
between seasons walls
          summer's leave
waving colour
nature's conceive
in the rise and falls
          life's reprieve

CT,
I really like this. Very well done!

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
