 Believing ~ Linda L. Dowd ~ +*+*+*+*+*+ To believe in only what we see, Leaves nothing to explore. With faith and an open heart, We’d see and sense much more. Love is all around us, Although we cannot see it, For love is an emotion, ~ And we certainly can feel it! Although the wind’s invisible, We know that it is there, By trees swaying back and forth, And leaves flying in the air. On overcast and dreary days, The rays of sun still shine, Behind gray and somber clouds, ~ So smile instead of whine. There are fairies in our gardens, But they hide themselves from view. Although we cannot see them, We know that this is true. There are angels all around us, ‘Tho they be not in our sight. We know that they’re protecting us, As we sleep throughout the night. God is omnipresent, We know He’s everywhere. Although we cannot see Him, He listens to each prayer. To believe in only what we see, Leaves nothing to explore. With faith and an open heart, We’d see and sense much more. +*+*+*+*+*+ |
