Feeling Too Much of Too Little

I can remember those light touches.
The neck whispers that made me smile
waiting for lips to rest their moisture warmth.

Inadequate words,
emptiness slipping through mine
afraid of the loss of meaning behind them.

I feel misplaced, priceless moments
lost to time and distance,
an inconsequential being.

I am falling backwards,
the challenges sometimes
disconnecting me from you.

I want to cry today, having held back for weeks.
I want to scream from a depth that has been hiding.
I want to leave behind the fears and feel the calm
of arms to hold me still.

Today, I just want to feel~~

M

for I, and these others, have been touched ....

        gracefully, deeply, completely

Maureen...I echo LeeJ too.  But, you know..it's ok to write it out...feelings are a reason for poetic expression.

Yes, there are times I feel this way as well. That is why writing will soothe your tender hurts.

A universal write indeed.  Thank you.

There are times when we just have to let it all out Maureen.
This hurts..cause I know what it's like
to just want to 'feel'.
Heart hugs.

Heck I have those days too when I feel this way and don't even have the words to explain the why of it. On those are the days people stay clear as I bellow it out until it leaves   Try it, at least you get to be alone for a while and it beats punching your pillow Maureen
