No-Fly Zone

I can't fly here anymore;
how much more simply can I say it?
No matter how many feathers I gather,
whatever contraption I make,
it will not be enough.

Once I flew in skin, no need of magic,
and in some times, in some places I still can.
Here I am lead. I didn't change,
but there was change and the loser
always pays the winner's price.
Now, yet another zone where I can't go.
Those are the rules.
Worst of all, I made them myself.

Sunshine's right...aren't rules made to be broken? You can fly wherever you set your mind to fly...I know!!

How true... and how devastating. The finest feathered wings can't help when feet are encased in concrete... no matter who did the pouring. *S* And if the trap's of our own making... it hurts even more. *S*
