she writes tranquility, in parchment memoirs
cascading rainbows of nautical ailment
this dawn faired, seaworthy evening star,
offers
horizon’s work, in soft glowing vestment
rhythmic structure, assumes her beacon
to sooth a shattered countryside mode
where we sometimes face a chance of rejection
from the silent loins, of a plaintive world

I’ve pondered her aura, coming to bloom
She commits basic worth to a higher rung
bounteous patience fills her room
creative bursts of freedom young

i witness with astonishment
how she murmurs love without wait
passion transcending, cherished fragrance
in the excitement of her artistic parade

we met by chance of unusual doings
arising from her muse within
and bide by still…greater evolutions
drinking from her imaginative wineskin

i cannot say where life will lead
but know full well, the miracle of aging
from seeds of love, she sprays with ease
my life goes forth because of her paintings
who’d have ever thought that
nature’s timing, spoke fluid Portuguese?

for a magnificent poet and friend
I'm truly greatful for

LeeJ,
You wrote with intentions other than to spotllight your poetic talents, but that seems to me to be the unintentional result of his piece, and in the procees you have touched a heart more deeply than you can imagine
Amazing, my friend

I agree with all the sentiment above.  But then, YOU are that way.
