cry the river and storm the seas
or float upon a cloud with your mind at ease

fall down to your knees
and be thankful, please

for somewhere out there floats a soul
who does not feel a piece of love's puzzle

a sole soul who never felt Peace,
only knew the mindless struggle

and if in that moment of acknowledgement
you find yourself

wallowing yet in self-pity
and painting the skies blue

get up off those knees, please
go grab a broom or a mop

for there is much in this world
that needs a good cleanin

maybe start
with a New Orleans or Biloxi street?

"maybe start
with a New Orleans or Biloxi street?"

Well here is one soul that agrees with you ... me.

Mercy I do love visiting those two places and pray they quickly recover.

Powerful write here Dear Lady....enjoyed.

always seeking joy, adventure and romance and wishing you find the same

thanks, Janette!
I only spent two days in Nawlins, and passed through Biloxi once. But anyone anywhere who has to live through what these people did? I offer whatever I can to console them, and help them get back on their feet.
And whining doesn't push the broom or mop.

Just couldn't keep rhymin' eh? Fine the message exceeded the need ofr rhyme anyway! And once again our social conscience speaks. You da girl, woman. Or is it "you da woman, girl"? I forget.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

So true.  Too many forget there are many others suffering far worse perils than they.

Thank you for the words and the reminder.
