Spirit flutes dance a wind song,
caress the air in gentlest breeze.

I bend my knees,
~worshipping the graces of life~
in mindful moments overcoming strife
within the sheer beauty captured in the wind;
amber-orange skies, dragon flies, butterflies,
all creatures, then and now
that rest within the windsongs.

Enticing rapturous flute melodies drift
over the snowcapped Rockies, across stormy seas.
Nature's notes lighten the heavy load of tragedy
that weighs down weakened humans every day.

Spirit flutes float freely on the winds of time,
and in their harmonies, remind us
we are not Earth’s rulers
but its guests.

I think I've heard that tune before. Nicely done sis.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Kacy, this is one of the most beautiful poems
I've ever read!! I seemed to feel it as I was reading it.
I could almost SEE the wind
and hear the flute.
Excellent writing, Sweetie.
Hugs,
Ethel

Nature would seem to be the prescription for a weary world warrior.  You said it perfectly.

"I bend my knees,
~worshipping the graces of life~
in mindful moments overcoming strife
within the sheer beauty captured in the wind;"

It is to this invisible beauty
That I also genuflect, daily-
Hailing the energy entity
Asking for strength to live by grace.

It is, as is, the spinning of a prayerwheel,
A form of worship that is little understood.

"we are not Earth’s rulers
but its guests."

We are but parishiners and have taken the words "subdue the earth" out of context- another reason that the written word can only touch on the fringes of meaning-we are rude guests, and our host will throw us out if we don't start behaving..

Your words here show honesty, faith and humbleness-truth in human expression.

I enjoyed them.

this was so free flowing and colorful
credits capturing nature's array
how she whispers to us, taps her feet while waiting for us to get jiggy with it!

Wonderfully mezmorizing write...
