My Tipperary

Lies a branch of summers carry
Maturing in the warmth of sun
Enough to stop a soul in tarry
Enough to win the heart of one

Underneath a crimson sky
Clear of air and sweet to breathe
Where green hills and mountains lie
A garden of a Gods bequeath

A vision of my early youth
Impressions of my growing mind
A picture of my home for truth
A place that I’ve come back to find

A longing for the heather hills
With clouds that often skirt the dress
A longing for the weather frills
That often clears my inner stress

Seeking phantoms Tipperary
Every evenings goal of tarry

Good morning, Sir Sonneteer!

"A longing for the heather hills
With clouds that often skirt the dress
A longing for the weather frills
That often clears my inner stress"

~ May peace be found on heather hills
And life be of fine weather frills

Love, Peace, and Harmony,
EA

Perfect!
I want to go there too!
Perhaps that is why I named my daughter Heather.
Hugs to you this fine fall day. Chris
