skies fill
of greying clouds
ready to spill
upon such crowds
the innocent
set to release
a noticed moment
unable to cease

eyes well
retaining fears
stories to tell
beyond their years
small increments
of life we've known
unnoticed moments
alive .... alone

cries still
we hold the tears
it is God's will
'til someone hears
and feels the pains
we have to share
tasting the rains
thirsting for air
