Yesterday I wanted it all
Did I tell you?
It was so long ago
No one cushioned the fall

Whispering into my hand
On days when I can’t bare
To let anyone hear my desperation
This failure so unplanned

Taking solace from my corner
Of an empty room
With shadows that sing
The song of continuance mourner

Reluctance devours progression
Stagnant, stillness
Becomes an obsession

Colors fade
As movement ceases
Reality is over played

I know ... sometimes it happens just like this.

But the light always calls us back into LIFE!

Very well rendered "mood of the night"!

Love,
