A Fly On the Wall

Were I to be a fly upon the wall
Desirous that a scathing scene unfold
That lets a juicy dialogue befall
On ears of this repulsive, lowly soul

I’d surely not remain so very near
The bickering that could scandalize and stun
But rather lend a slightly distant ear
From there atop a luscious cinnamon bun

Liz, this is such a delight to read. I've
thought the same thing at times......I would LOVE
to be a fly on the wall whenever gosipps think
they're being "secretive". If only people would stop
and realize how much it hurts most people to
have lies told on them. I've heard that the "truth"
hurts, but I can deal with the truth. It's the lies
people like to spread that make me so angry.

Sorry, I didn't mean to get started on that. LOL
I loved your poem, as always, sweet lady.
Hugs,
Ethel
