chewing my hands free from chemical fumes
weeping in an element of perception
birds in foursquare prototypes
like sounds taking over, casual quiet…

face me with molten rock, as the aura changes
forming “us” an attention-grabbing bridge
one with questions of topography…
like a trained soldier kills
a poetic breath of optical significance
jingles in the pockets of visual effects
returning unusual patterns
into some finalized get together

i am the inner necessity to construct time
inside out…menstruation of divergent worlds
growing latitudes, often silent…sunlight never stutters
nor arranges old form languages, yet, penetrates
suggesting an abundant outpour
of somebody’s story

it dominates features of claustrophobic bonds
therein i move, callused to the rhyme
between communications, like a savage carved to stone
i am that every glance of first step acting like leap year’s bones
but inside i bleed the despair, the fear, spitting up anxiety
building a fantastic fable, for a festival of events
and the reputation of a work in progress

where lives recall the near miss values
of this surreal voyage, this cross country empty space
in search of something spot on tour-de-france
makes little sense
but it’s what reveals me orally
spitting me out like a storyteller
into black and white

i may not live life the same
but, at the end of each day
at least i’ve written
something that makes little sense
except to me...

~*~

Wanna bet?  Made sense to me, too...

I sat here and sang your song
out loud in a quiet voice,
and heard your heart
and felt your muscle...

of tone, and time, and tender...

and trust.

I especially felt, trust.

"a poetic breath of optical significance

Many brilliant lines, and this my favorite.
Such class!

I always enjoy reading you LeeJ.

...and you leave me basking in a mesmeric wonderland of awe..
awed by all my eyes and senses read and feel.
...i am transposed and left wandering in a translucent world of your rhythmicity..
hardly understanding all i feel, yet appreciating you more each time i read...

your name, your words, draw my mouse like a magnet to your space in this home of blue. thank you, martyjo
