Im just not you What you want me to be It just isnt me And i just cant see What you want from me Cause im the one you always blame God, that is so lame Cause you want me to be this But you miss The signs that i leave behind Cause your thoughts are never far from mine And youve never heard my decline But with this ryme You hear it this time This time, i wont let you ignore Like all the times before I will be you no more Cause i wanna be me And ill make you see This time With this very ryme The highlights Left upon the twilight Cause You hear what you want to hear And ive have dealt with it over the years By your conviction But it will only lead to your contradiction And so, what you want me to be Its just not me Cause ive had enough devastation Its time for my revelation So Im not you I guess you never knew Right from the bloody start Your dream was falling apart And you see this very ryme Has ended it in so little time |
