Bubbles One day I mixed soapy water Used it as a bubbles mortar Passing them into the air That caught the rainbow in its flair I passed the moment like a child It made me smile and I was wild They seemed to dance upon the breeze Some would break and some would tease Some would rise and some would fall And some would make me shout and call And I was lost eternity Polarity of parity A place of neither here nor there A place of image one could stare A place where one could heave a sigh A place where one could stay and die Lost within a world of joy A fairy land of child’s employ |
