like a swedish masseur
on a cruise line
squeezing toward horizon’s midway point
buoyant strokes of spongy words
stood, like desperate souls…frozen

choice sighing like an aristocrat
properly fleshed out with leadership
screaming like a tow truck
in pink summer masculinity
bearing that glint tinge, of knowing the
way around a woman’s body

action snapshots, pulls out a wallet
of astonishing revelations…plunging
plunging into synchronized worship songs
an intention of giving, softly and calmly
openhanded, a cozy looking place
with surprising agility & childhood fantasy
dancing mutual desire with reliance

like a flammable fuselage, bursting fragile rawness
a cool wind taxing down emotions
without a filibuster face off of self deception
there is still a lyrical quality
taking a breath, writing thoughts all together

i seize bright sunlight’s narrative configuration
overlooking the countless stories that failed
for what is past, is prologue, weeping tears of joy
meeting a focused event, ascribing prospect
leaving info structure, wide open and dark gold

... synchronized worship songs... what a treat!
Once again your poetry contains shades of colors no others seem to be able to see.

Good morning, Lee! To click on one of your titles, I know I am going into a "Promised Land" of fine poetry.

A mind is a terrible thing to waste! ~ and you obviously are not wasting yours!

You are one mighty talented poetessa!

May your day promise to be a good one! ~ and may it deliver!

Hugs with love,
Linda

There's only one word for your poems and that's ... "amazing".  I know I've said it before so let me change it to "totally amazing".

Lee J, I like it all, but this part really
stood out at me. Like the others, Hon, I
think your writing is amazing.
Hugs,
Ethel
