~*~

With each reflection changes
shining through the sunlight
set off by streaks and smudges
becomes the mourning pane.

Until the dial turns halfway
burnt orange as an autumn day
past the clouds of winter
turns to nickle grey.

When in your window springs
and bends across a field of heather
fancy dancing on display
forget me not to find a way.

Sprinkling showers in aqua hues
I will come back to you in bloom
when summer comes again
you will my thoughtful blues.

This was just wonderful poetry, very much enjoyed by this reader.

The changing of season at this time always brings a touch of melancholy ... yet the beauty only transforms ... and you know and share your emotions so very touchingly, dear Lori.

A beautiful write, greatly enjoyed!

this is too cool
to be read only once
and it must be
read
outloud
to be fully enjoyed.
My not-so-humble-opinion.

Ditto to Kacy and Bluesy friend I never cease enjoying the depth of you.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
