Many Beautiful Moons Ago

Soft thoughts
from my heart,
stirred up
by my sweetheart,
remembering the
night when
it all began.
I knew in my heart
that no one could
keep us apart
when she said,
"When will I
see you again?"

And now I
see her
everyday.

I recall saying those words myself once long ago but obviously not to the right person.  Nice to know that they can have a happy ending.
