With the tenderness of a mother's kiss,
her pen caresses page.

Her words the melody of violin,
to the beast in purple rage.

Igninting in us a spark of hope,
to rise up and try again.

With gentleness she dusts us off,
with the words from her pen.

Thank you both and so many more. None will ever be more thankful than me Marge. A lost and wandering soul has found home.

My joy is not confined to these pages but has found it's way into my sculpture. At the moment I am chipping away the outer layers of a piece of Colorado marble. I will call the finished piece "Kiss of the poetess" :-)

Steve.....what a lovely dedication!!  Isn't it wonderful that good feelings when they come, leak into every other part of life and make it better?  I think so too!

Dear Steven, Marge is at the top of the list for most poets!

Your own words caressed the page!

Thank you all, For your insight, compassion, love, and understanding that you bless me with in your lovely poems. You truly do pick me up and dust me off and give me a spark of hope.

Thus, I hope Marge will forgive me but since I've never really kissed a potess...I have decided to change the name to "The Muse" in honor of the shared spirit that inhabits the female heart. I have no doubt that if I can but infuse this stone with a small portion of the beauty, mystery, and feminity you all display on these pages. It will be my personal best, my masterpiece.
