Stretching

Stretching the mystic of my mind
Peeling away the cloak of rind
I feel the breeze that strokes believe
And makes me dance the dance naive

And in this end I round the bend
To catch the tail of rainbows wend
Splashing like a child in bath
Raising havoc on the path

The colors scintillate the lie
Glittering gold as I splash by
Raising bubbles round my sight
Adding scenes to my delight

And as they pop and form anew
I see the heavens shining through
With butterflies beyond belief
And flowers forming reef on reef

It is a sheet I hoist in sail
To find the wind and catch a whale

a whale of a life, isn't it sir...
Wonderful penning, with great admiration for life's bumps and grinds....

Happy Friday

.... stretching in delight!

Great! I love your stretching dance, dear Seymour.

And I really must say that your imagination is amazing.

Love and hugs.
