Without Any Explanation

Since much time elapsed
Had this meant farewell
Could this mean the end
How was I going to tell

Looking for obvious signs
As the weeks pass by
Is silence the indication
Of the elusive goodbye

Is this silence with a twist
Avoiding communication
Guessing is all I could do
Without any explanation

Was I supposed to guess
Given nothing to clarify
If I was to ask you again
Could you at least reply

SweetHope~

'the elusive goodbye'

Now that's a thought that I just might have to shelf for a future penning~

Nothing like not knowing ... is there ?

Take care of you my friend~

Some things are definitely not worth second guessing, perhaps this is one?  Nice work Hope.
