Pool of Reverie
~ Linda L. Dowd ~

Languid lie I, in liquid dreams,
where pool warm thoughts of you.
Images mirrored on waters still,
~ memories of loving true.

A twirling leaf in slow descent,
falls from yon willow tree.
And rests upon the surface calm,
of this pool of reverie.

Sometimes when I read I get distracted by some outside thing and have to read a few times to catch the "jist" of whats being said, but not with this one.  This one takes me to where only humility can fill the gap!  Please do write somemore.

Thought provoking! After floating around in my head for awhile. I found my attention drawn more and more to "yon willow tree" or maybe to the leaves yet to fall. Unrecalled memories or memories yet to be made? Either way I really like it.

iliana ~

Jo, I had sent you an email yesterday, but I just noticed that it didn't get sent! It appears that I must have deleted it instead of sending it! I sent another one to you this morning but I know that you are preoccupied with more important things! I suppose you are relocating at the moment as you are in direct line of Hurricane Rita. I pray it will be down-graded to a tropical storm but at the moment that appears highly unlikely. Just know that though I live far away, I am with you in spirit and riding this storm out with you.

I pray you and your loved ones are in angel keep. God bless you all!

Love you, dear sister friend!

Hon, I'm sitting on the porch eating lunch and sharing the tranqulity with you. There are leaves twirling and never again will I watch one without thinking of you and this delightful poem.

I share others thoughts and hope you will never quit writing.
