Nights That Could Have Been

She wanted a man to hold her loosely,
he wanted a woman to hold him tight,
how bad he felt to miss the pleasure,
of nights that could have been so nice.

Oh how beautifully saddening.  I too know the feeling of wanting something so bad that it just seems an eternity away...lovely write!
