October      will soon arrive
bringing with her   gold swells
of sunsets tapping windows ---
haunting the trails of darkness

So:

he blew the petals softly
with character and beauty

as he often does

I wanted to disappear into his breath
between his lips--just that moment
of remembering when the heart was not
wrapped in layer after layer

beautiful thought:

I want so bad to forgive his hands--
to keep the rain from falling through
brilliant and hollow palms

often wondering if there

will  ever be a time
            when light becomes my name
- when I notice the stars as the fingers of my soul

Tonight:

you say you understand
you're looking for something to hold

between
        no
w
and
        sunrise

maybe autumn will feel softer this year

between
       praye
r
and
       answer

because within us

there is love

~~**~~
There are moments when speech
is but a mouth pressed lightly and
humbly against the angel's hands
~~**~~

This was very romantic. I loved it.

Poetry is beauty in words.

Yes, there is love ... I can feel it. Your poem is like a caress to the soul.

Beautiful!

"Brilliant and hollow palms"

how very cool is that?

You always write sensual, wistful romantic words and no one can touch your talent at it.

I picture the time from night to sunrise as being the time of Love .....

and that love being enough to warm the hearts and
prolong the Autumn's colours of such loving souls ....

hollow hands can hold the world!
