Poetic Wake

I try my best to ride the wake
Which oft gives me a belly ach?
For common is a rolling wave
That turns a multitude of crave

Transmitting is a way of ride
That stays within the white abide
It takes a prisms passing thru
To show the colors those are true

It’s true I gather many ends
And try to straighten all the bends
But though I gather up much wool
The bag is never really full

I try my best to ride the wake
To vest this poem a piece of cake
But common is a lease of crave
That turns a multitude of wave

So stand the wake and ride the stream
And you’ll make true what was a dream

How true dear Sy!
Hope your week is off to a good start.
~Smiles & Hugs...and perhaps a spot of Chai tea, Nancy~

I wait now at the lake or walking by the bay
I wait and listen or put a seashell
to my ear and it all comes back
the wind's soft murmur..and you.

quote:

The less we crave, the less we ache ...

But a poetic wake like yours, dear Seymour, makes one want to realize those certain dreams ...

Beautifully expressed in your beautiful unique style, that never fails the target: to give the reader some pleasant food for thought.

Love,
Margherita

You get extra cake and winkies for this gem of pen...your wisdom rhymes are the cherry on top and the raspberry in me tea.

Perhaps these words are wiser and hold more truth than we can realise.  Enjoyed the read - thanks.
