I believe I’m living in a world encompassed by appeal
That I can love and nurture and that no one else can steal
Within that world I’m smiling, seeing life as ever grand
And in there I just find myself the one to understand

I can talk to people but I don’t need them to stay
In fact I feel more comfortable each time they walk away
I do not mind the chatter, but I’d rather somewhere be
Where I feel much more comfortable and somehow feel I’m free

I feel that I am lucky for I like what I’ve become
I consider every person and I’m proud of what I’ve done
Although my space of calm might change, I get on with my days
I’d like to think that I am liked while happy in my ways

I feel guilty when I’ve freedom; God knows why I do
Life is rare of sharing peace that helps us make it through
But somehow I find friendship, be it from a word or touch
Days are worth the waking and I love them all so much

I hope my smile is warming and my words are kept a while
I hope while I am happy that some others learn to smile
May others feel as lucky when they see what they’ve become
My life, it carries what will be, that I’ll compare to none

For life is worth the little risks, the time we take to learn
Its worth is found from teachings and the insight that we earn
It’s full of little secrets that one day we may know
Each day is worth the harvest so another we may sow

Oh, What an interesting poem.. Did not take my eyes off once. and I learned some things from this too! Thanks for sharing.
