Suit without a soul,
Flaming bush with words profuse --
Words that mean nothing.

This was composed by my daughter and me during a heated political discussion.

I loved this poem.

Poetry is beauty in words.

Well done to both of you!  This is great!  As for him having a soul - well, maybe his soul is just role playing to make the people ... pray.

Helen....I think I agree with you about that, actually.  My daughter talked me in to putting this here....it was mostly her poem and she doesn't have the same perspective yet.  She was just outragged by his speech last night.  Fortunately, or not....I missed it so I don't know what set her off.  To make it a true haiku, nature has to be mentioned (right?)...., thus the reference to the bush....lol.  Thanks for posting.   ....jo

PS:  All joking aside....prayer is needed.

This was brilliant!

And might I add the saying, "A bird in a hand is worth more than two in a 'Bush'!

Give Abby a great big hug for me and keep one for yourself!

Just so!

And I agree that prayers are needed to have leaders that truly listen to their soul and govern not only for the benefit of their own interests, but in the interest of evolution of their people and countries, with a major design to embrace the whole world's wellbeing.

It's good when young people awaken ...

Very good thought provoking haiku.

Love and hugs.

How we write

Taking images from nothing

That in nothing become images

That we take

Good words
