I did look at your eyes
more often than I admitted
but there was so much more
of your shoreline to admire

with tiptoe thoughts barefoot
I listen to you now
on my side of somewhere
I hear the woman of you

or is it some fanning wind
pretending in her long gown
to be a damp drawn dancer
writhing a canvas of silk

into my panted imagination

Odd how a certain look
can speak so much isn't it?

Love this barefoot side of you
this morning DS.

Methinks you hear best
when you listen
to the whisper winds...

The vision you brought to life for me was of a woman walking along a naked shoreline while you gazed on thoughtfully...Interesting how each read brings a new life to vision...I really like this poem....**big hugs**

well, I don't think anyone out there appreciates women in the way that you do, Stranger. I really love the fact that your words seem to have eyes and fingers that trace the beautiful things.

She does have a sound of her own...
and sometimes,
only the shoreline will feel
her ache...

and try to hold on
to her tides...

You, Sir...are magic.

Sometimes, it's hard to tell. *S* But whatever you're hearing, you write the whisper beautifully... This touches the heart. *S*
