we hiked the wilderness
slept upon the great divide
making love on lightning crest
to thunder's crashing tide

rock and rain
pine and flame

quaking in the moments
nevermore the same

"If at first an idea is not absurd, there is no hope for it."
Albert Einstein

This speaks to me in the kindest way,
and what has been on my mind of late.
That being the reality, that we are so much
less than what we were or hoped to be.

Your writing is heartfelt~

I wait now at the lake or walking by the bay
I wait and listen or put a seashell
to my ear and it all comes back
the wind's soft murmur..and you.
