As I dreamed of Esmeralda on that distant sunny shore

She who had taken me from boyhood to a southern clime

As I dreamed of Esmeralda with a warm face facing mine

She was a gentle lady of a gentle mind

As I dreamed of Esmeralda so I dream of who she was

Was it someone on a Galleon driving Pirates from bewas

As I dreamed of Esmeralda
So I dreamed

Of Esmeralda

Sweet dreams, well written. I love the word dream itself and I like how you used it.
