Without A Word Being Spoken

Obviously I am being ignored
It became quite easy to see
You never gave reasons why
Still I shall continue being me

I write letters and do not send
I cannot help thinking of you
Nothing hurts worse than this
It is grieving I must go through

It is much like a bereavement
Though I know you are alive
While I feel the sense of loss
Somehow I will have to survive

Using silence as your weapon
I felt the knife plunge silently
Could you imagine how I feel
Since distance became reality

Skillfully you severed my heart
Without a word being spoken
As I go through this silent hell
Existing although heart broken
