Listening to every heart

Walk Toward History

Walk with me
Toward history
When finger’s touch
Will mean so much
As hearts will heal
Break fast for meals
To endure the storm

Praying for norm

Walk with me
Toward history

Focus on the strengths
Ready to walk lengths
Pitch in with sustain
As level heads maintain
Cling fast to your hope
Share with all your cope
In quiet, shed a tear

But never, ever, fear

Walk with me
Toward history

Beacon with your light
Call upon His might
Stand in true conviction
Give without restriction
One by one United
Till all has been righted
And we shall, en mass

Deliver all with class

Walk with me
Toward history

Solidarity shall unite
By giving with great might
Red, white and blue shall band
As hand, by hand, by hand
We shall lift our souls again
Songs shall promise US a when
Poets pen a future, bright

Yes! solidarity shall unite

As you and I,

He and she

Walk together

Toward history

"Walk Towards History"....I like the way you worded that.  Amazing how just saying something a little different, makes changes that can be lived with.

What the battle comes to our shores, we get a sample of what much of the world faces every day.  The pages of our history have not the blood of much of the world.
Well written.  Ken

You do give without restriction, always, dear Karilea. This is very touching.
