Dress and Fuss

No matter the fuss or the nonplus
Beneath it all it’s common us
No matter the sound or furor
You are the judge and the juror

Down the river or up the hill
It’s much to large to swallow the pill
We dream each night to make it right
But morning comes the same old sight

We cannot change the change to be
Nor can we walk upon the sea
For we are products of the bloom
Made the way of times assume

Therefore the partial of exist
Is part of the twist of the mist?
A twist of lemon in the tea
The changing future that will be

You can’t stop the worlds go round but
You can enjoy its sight and sound

What a lovely way for me to start my day! ~ reading this delightfully spirited write from my favourite sonneteer!

...and that twist of lemon in our tea makes life more interesting! A bit of zest is best!

So true Seymour.
Hugs to you this sunny September morn.

Something tugs at me, I've no doubt of that.
Something from the sea, whichever one I'm near.
When I stray too far from beachland, it calls me back
