 she came into my room at 2 am and tapped my shoulder "mom" she said, I cant sleep "why" I asked? because god is bowling -- and everytime he wins he flashes lights I chuckled, and scooped her up to lay her back down to sleep I kissed her forehead and tucked her in -- promised it would be over soon as I turned to leave she said: "I sure hope so, because it's hard to sleep with all that noise" ~~ she comes up with the most amazing thoughts....sigh...a little humor and a smile or two |

Ah, Lauren, how perfect! The "heavenly bowling" story was told to myself and my sister many times over in our childhood. Yes, and we told it to our own little ones. Hugs to you and yours. Chris Poetry is an echo, asking a shadow to dance. |
