I don't wanna hear anymore of your sour notes
about why you didn't go rushin in there
as fast as the waters did

I don't wanna hear the financial score,
this lazy laissez faire attitude
about where the buck stops

I wanna see people dancing and singing
laissez le bon temps roulette

So roll up your shirt and suck up the mess
give the people back their homes
and put the music back
on Bourbon street

As always, a disaster such as this will reveal some weak links within our leadership and our disaster systems...Hopefully leaders that failed to perform to standards will be replaced and lessons will be learned...but for now the task will progress as planned...the train is already going down the track...James

lol, thanks friends
I rolled up my shirt sleeves here locally at the charity thrift store to help out, and ended up injuring myself but since I've taken Red Cross First Aid and CPR training, I patched myself up with betadine and neosporin and gauze badages and went right back into the trenches...so to speak. LOL, My Rx for Bush?
I wanna see all you fat cat government officials and the FEMA hierarchy do what former Pres Carter has done many times...grab a hammer and help Habitat or somebody put a home together! or grab more than just the bandaids and get these people back on their feet! I know, I know, he called in more troops
ie, send in someone else's kids to do the dirty work. For once, I'd like to see the commanders-in-chief do more than push a pencil or a cell phone button.

GOOD LUCK, GOD BLESS (if you believe in God) to all those who have to start over again!
There are thousands of us out here offering help.
