Look at me...then slowly
turn away.

Allow thoughts to fall in the
distance of your mind.

We are empty now...form caressed to the
absence of flesh, bone and
self.

Only space remains...

Ready to
receive.

I'm having a hard time finding what ties S1 to the rest of this piece. It's the "turn away" part that I can't figure. What are you trying to say here?

It's only a tragedy after we bleed.
Your pain doesn't count 'til it's stained the sheets.

Hi Eromyna,
Hahaha...I try to say as little as possible in a poem and to explain even less. To do so would only give you my meaning and negate any meaning you may gather on your own. Even confusion serves a purpose!
So instead of offering you an explaintion allow me to instead offer a brief meditation.

Gaze at a beloved object or person. Allow yourself to bathe in their personal expression. Now slowly withdraw your gaze (turn away)and let your thoughts fall away on their own accord. Perhaps there will only be a brief moment before new and unrelated thoughts rush to meet your presence. That's ok...it only takes a moment. In this space we can be stripped of "thoughts of love" ( empty) and become a receptacle of deeper, truer love that often remains hidden beneath our ideals and delusions. In this emptiness we are ready to be filled, to be penetrated, in a perfect gift of love. We are ready to receive. And so we can be...so we will be. If we are open to what the empty moment offers.

Perhaps the poem still doesn't make sense? Hahaha...that's ok! I appreciate the opportunity to share.

Love,
Eric

Beautiful, Eric.  I do wish I had your gift of "as few words as possible".  What you express herein is exactly right - we just need to practice it.

Eric

I like the thought, or empty place, that this speaks of.  I will practice it.  I love the way you write...I may practice that too...I am sometimes too full of words.

Ericc, thought this was beautiful, but kind of strangely, I feel a little sadness with it.   ....jo

My ears are open to that space also thanks to you ...

You have a beautiful mind and you perceive whispers of great subtlety and beauty.

This is a lesson of wisdom.

I love you.
