Shadows of Diamond Head

I never want to forget
the sweet words she said
as we walked hand in hand in
the shadows of Diamond Head.
She said that she was going away,
but fear not, for she would
return to my arms someday.
On moon filled nights when
storm clouds part and shadows
dart upon the paths we shared,
I whisper her name, but its not
the same, when she's not there.
