I don't wanna die like this
rocking
in mid curvature
just because my chin was cursed
by this swerve of nod
and worse

there
is drool
drip down the side
of my dead lopsided grin
and I don't wanna whine like this-

flip the page of Sears
and then
season's change
as models grin
proper
in white cotton briefs
as if they were au natural
and happenstance
had winked a glimpse

of them in their underwear
with paddles
and a ping pong grin
colorize a blush on her
take the grapes from him
congealed
and this is bigger
that is blessed
as they pose a betterless
equality
and unity
of eyes which swerve in open

ness

here

into my troubled mind:

janis

trickles on the cry
tremble legs the newborn foal
leaning into echoes sold
posed much bolder as she rolled
rock of iron butterfly
and "wha-ah-ah-a-ha-ha-why?"

she sang the words that slow.

Wings
with secret whistlings
of holes within
my arguments

and I don't wanna die like this
drowning
in the proof of it
oh-I-need-a-man-to-love
and I don't wanna live like this

Gurley missing every cue
but oh you know
I'd wear the blue
fringe
and croon the microphone
to blow
with gutterals

brief stage lights
and filterings

witnessing the "oh" I ask:

"I don't wanna die like this"

rasp the gasp

and boom

eclipse

the light of a trap door

as I

beg applause for "more".

You never cease to amaze me.  Your words are like spells. I never know anything intelligent to say

If at first you don't succeed destroy all the evidence that you tried.

Applauding the lady who does laundry, cooks, and writes until she finally says, "okay let's lock the damn door!"

Be safe m'friend, and for you all I pray.

Even though I don't fully grasp the meaning of certain expressions, I do feel the atmosphere and that means that you, the poet, have perfectly succeeded in involving me in your emotions.

Love and hugs.

"Wings
with secret whistlings
of holes within
my arguments"

makes it hard to fly....

and I don't wanna die like this
drowning
in the proof of it
oh-I-need-a-man-to-love
and I don't wanna live like this

this stanza touched me in places I don't like to look at...

you are amazing and I love you muchly.

be safe and you know you have a place here if need be..
