Where no tyranny is tolerable

Cry, Cindy.
Go on feeling sorry for yourself.
Eat your heart out, Cindy.
Eat it raw.
It hurts even worse that way.
cry, Cindy.
How  about a cable television channel, Cindy;
a cable channel just for you?
May your meteoric rise to pseudo-stardom be sweet, Cindy.
May your fans take comfort in their misery.
By the way, Cindy,
Neither United States Marines,
nor are those who serve
in the armed forces of any other nation, babies.

Well, my good amigo, we both know this truth

~to not dissent is to imply consent~

and this grieving mom is dissenting loud long and clear. And while I do think this whole thing has become a media three-ring circus, I still commend Cindy and other parents for standing their ground, demanding some accountability.
Hugs to you, I love that you are taking a stand, even though I cannot agree with you on this one.

George loves Cindy
It's written on a fence somewhere
Just outside of Crawford
Where a mother came in grief
To right her dead sons wrong
And was followed by the world...

I suppose that some men haven't realized yet that their mothers will always think of them as babies..

She has every right in the world to cry the way she is, in my opinion, and no right at all in yours, at least not without humiliation...I will not try to change your mind, Jaime, and I know it would be futile for you to try and change mine.

But I am glad that you put your thoughts in a poem...

(big angel hugs) I respectfully disagree with you about Cindy, Jaime, as she is merely a grieving mother who lost a dear child in a war she doesn't believe in, who is seeking answers to the many questions that surely plague many like myself right now! (sad sigh) Her protest is most pure, her sentiments are nothing artificial to me, and I certainly don't believe she ever said our young men and women in uniform were babies, God Bless You, we all love you so much! Our disagreements certainly don't take away my belief that you have such a beautiful heart, sweet Jaime, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Jaime~
You express your point of view clearly and poetically~

As a mother, I can empathize with the feelings of Cindy, and other mothers like her, and those not like her, who have given up a son/daughter to the ravages of war ... as a conscientious objector to the manner in which this mother has spoken out ... I can only say that I don't have to agree with her ... to understand her anguish~

Not having worn her shoes ... I simply can't cast stones ... but ... I don't have to watch it anymore either~

I do happen to support 'almost' all of the policies my President has dedicated himself to on behalf of those of us who elected him to serve us in the best interest of all citizens of the USA~

I hold Cindy in prayer ... that she finds comfort (not notority) to quell her anguish ... and I hold my President in prayer that he, and others under his charge, continue to make the decisions necessary to keep us safe on American soil~

There most likely won't come a day that all of the world will know peace and democracy ... but hopefully we will be able to say, ... "We tried."
