Standing beneath a star blanket
counting moonbeams and dust trails
they dare me to stare, to see

~Beyond~

The gravel walkway beneath my feet,
it stumbles me every time
as it dares me to step

~Beyond~

Self-absorption steals my breath,
chokes me with my own stupidity,
holds me back from something great

~Beyond~

The glaciers melt into blue brilliance
while my whispers fade into the collective pale,
and that’s what lies ahead of me,

~Beyond~

You are on a roll today Kacy!

Very wise words.

I can't believe that your whispers will ever fade

even in the beyond

I love the way this sings to me..especially those lines...like a slap to the face...do I ever know how that feels...

Enjoyed,
particularly the repeating word
I'm sure it is whispered.
