As I lie down to sleep this night I think of you holding me tight In your arms that feel so strong Making me feel there is no wrong With space between we are apart Apart in body but not in heart You are lonesome for me as I am for you I know you are for our love is true Our touch so gentle we do miss The brush of our lips in a kiss Whispers of love into our ear Our pleasures together when we are near One day soon we hope and pray Together will be forever and a day Close by each other never to part The rest of our lives then we will start Though together are our pleasures galore The love between us consist of much more Desperately wanting each other to see So that together you and I can just BE |

You just wrote my grown up version of bedtime prayer. *smile* thank you ethel Love is always best expressed simply, I think. I may try this as new prayer, just tonight. (er...this morning.) *hugs you*  |
