Imagination

In shifting light and shadows lie
The picture played upon my eye
Sending waves of memories rave
The highs and lows of paints enslave

Each nuance of my mind to hand
Each stroke that placed the fires brand
Turned me back to sands of line
That quelled me like a porcupine

Stabbing me with fixed imprint
Hooks that sparked the flesh like flint
Bringing back the paints enslave
The immediacy the rave

The burning of the blinds inspire
The lightening of the thunders fire
Illusion brought into dimension
The essence of my minds invention

And now it hangs upon my wall
A phantom that is six feet tall

whoa, isn't that the truth, but the quells I now see as

The burning of the blinds inspire
The lightening of the thunders fire
Illusion brought into dimension
The essence of my minds invention

and the inventions are sooooo dazzling, are they not?

And now it hangs upon my wall
A phantom that is six feet tall

I always look forward to your imagination, Sy, and this one's a beauty.  Love the vivid and fresh imagery.

"The burning of the blinds inspire
The lightening of the thunders fire"

love those lines.

You always write a cadence that calls to me.

Good morning, Sir Sonneteer!

I always enjoy reading the fruits of your mind's invention! Your extraordinary imagination lends itself beautifully to creating fine works of poetry.

May you forever sleep safe in angel's keep!

Loveya, T-Man!

You know it really is a shame when someone puts your paintbox away isn't it   I too feel that inspire in the smallest thing, but I let it pass Sye, and figure it is time for me to be doing other things.  I think you know what I mean too right?

You write of these moments so well, my wise friend.
